Few things are more draining or destructive than being stuck in a cycle of negativity with your partner and yet moments of dysfunction are inevitable in a relationship. Couples who come to see me learn to make fundamental changes to the ways they relate to one another so that when that unavoidable pain pops-up, they have a shared roadmap toward resolution. I utilize PACT (The Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy) in my work with couples because I feel it is the form of couples therapy best suited to reduce the greatest amount of stress in relationships, allowing them to feel better and last longer.
